Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park
On Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th August all of year four went to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park for an excursion.
We went into the bush and smelt and tasted leaves. We also found anti- biotics in the leaves. We saw many animals like wallabies, wood ducks, brush turkey’s, crimson rosellas and kookaburras. We found fox traps and little insects. We saw stuffed animals like kookaburras and foxes. There are 1,000 species of animals and we saw engravings and drew pictures with sandstone.
The ranger at the park gave us a pet rock. We ate lunch on a boulder and had a great view of the bush. Then we tried iceblock flavoured and black jelly bean flavoured leaves.
