Tree Day

The Year 6 SRC representatives and some of their Kindergarten buddies “Got Growing” on Schools Tree Day, enjoying the opportunity to plant 20 Australian saplings in the far corner of our beautiful school bushland.

Under the watchful eye of Mrs Coe, Mr Bowmer dug the holes which were then well prepared by our students before planting. Mr Young helped stake the trees to protect them until they become well established.

After losing so many trees late last year it felt right to be returning new trees to our school playground.
